Applies to the BJJ Memo app (iOS & Android) by Valentino Sammali.
The app is local-first: there is no sign-up, no account, and no personal profile stored on our servers. Everything personal — your technique library, notes, belt rank, training log, streak, XP, badges and preferences — lives only on your device.
1. Delete the BJJ Memo app from your phone (long-press the icon → Remove/Uninstall).
2.That's it. Uninstalling permanently erases your entire library, notes, training log and progress. We keep no copy and cannot recover it.
If you have an active subscription, also cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — uninstalling does not cancel subscriptions (this is how Apple/Google work, we never see your payment details).
Deleted immediately when you uninstall: your technique cards, personal notes, belt/stripes, name and profile photo, training log, streaks, XP, badges, quiz history, and all app preferences. Retention after uninstall: none — zero days.
Not linked to you, kept server-side: generated cards, quizzes and short muted clips are cached on our servers keyed by the source video (never by you). This cache contains no personal data and no link to any user or device. Video clips are automatically deleted after 60 days; cards and quizzes are kept while the service operates so the same public video stays fast for everyone.
Subscription records: handled by Apple/Google (and our subscription processor RevenueCat) under their own retention policies — we never receive your name or payment details.
If you want specific cached content deleted from our servers — for example a card or clips generated from a video you own — email support.bjj@gmail.com with the video link. We action deletion requests within 30 days.
